The Lost Kitten

One sunny afternoon, Mia was playing outside in her backyard. She loved the warm weather, and she was running around chasing butterflies. Suddenly, she heard a soft meow.

Her mother smiled. “Oh, Mia, it’s so cute! Let’s look for its owner.”

They made a sign and put it on the front door: “Lost kitten. Please call Mia at 555-1234.”

The next day, a woman came to the house. She was very happy to see the kitten. “Oh, thank you! This is my kitten, Whiskers. She ran away this morning.”

Mia smiled and handed the kitten to the woman. “I’m glad I could help,” she said.

The woman smiled back. “Thank you so much. You are very kind.”

Mia waved goodbye to the kitten and watched as it walked back home. She felt happy because she helped the little kitten find its way back.
